Room was not cleaned thoroughly but bed was made, and it had a relaxing jacuzzi. The breakfast offered a nice variety 🥞 with cookies, eggs, bacon, toast, and yummy hot waffles.

besides, the location was convenient for our stay, within 20 minutes' walk of bethany reformed church. the staff were helpful and personable and kept the place clean.

Ease of getting around in the city. We loved the downtown area of Des Moines, a friendly clean fun city.

Our room air conditioner worked well enough to cool the room but the room was humid.

The rooms were spacious and impressive, with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, making you feel at home. The food was delicious, especially the cookies, eggs, bacon, toast, and hot waffles. The location was excellent, being just a pleasant stroll away from Brass Armadillo Antique Mall.

The rooms here with a couch were great, and we enjoyed the tasty toast and hot waffles among the plentiful food options available.

Beds were comfortable. Hot tub clean and comfortable.

Lever in sink to drain water broken. Pool had a glob of something (hair, snot, ? not sure) with very little water coming out of the jets. My husband went thru the lobby to get something out of the car. A group of people were on the balcony of the lobby yelling and appreared to be drunk. Des Moines police and Polk County Sheriff's cars were in the parking lot. We decided to bolt and chain our door. Unfortunately that's when we found out the security chain was broken. One time the tv and b'room lights went out momentarily and when my grandson tried to shut off the light in the room it made a "hissing" sound with blinking. Unsafe???

The location is convenient right off the highway exit, and breakfast offers a wide selection including toast and hot waffles.

We stayed in the King Suite for a one night getaway. It was nice and spacious, however it was not worth the price. Probably would not book this room again.
